About me

My journey into the world of hypnosis began many years ago, I have always had a fascination with the human mind and how we all tick. My early background in the theatre couldn't have been more different, little did I know then, that opening up the mind to discover our true selves wasn't that different from training to be an actor. Learning to be comfortable with ourselves and our feelings, to be confident in all senarios and situations and to find the true inner voice that is within all of us, was in fact quite similar.

It seems like a easy task to master doesn't it? but in fact can be an uphill struggle for many. I went on the search for something that could assist me up that hill, from Life-coaching, to counselling and very expensive weekend seminars that claim to change your life (you know the ones). Then I discovered NLP and along side that hypnotherapy, it was truely remarkable stuff and I can say it changed the way I viewed the world for the better.

I first studied NLP whislt living in Australia with one of the country's top training organisations Inspritive NLP, over 10 years ago and loved everything about it especially Erickson's Hypnosis. On completing my training I continued teaching drama and public speaking only now I had combinded some of my new found skills. With amazing results, students were gaining more confidence in all areas. I continue to run courses for public speaking and confidence building, just this time back in the UK. Training to become a qualified hypnotherpist was a great and rewarding experience. I passed my course with Distinction, and became an accredited member of the Hypnotherapy Society.

I still today contiune to use hypnotherapy myself and in fact during both my pregnancies used hypnobirthing to great success-no drugs needed with either of my children. I am a Certified Hypnotic Birthing Practitioner, training both couples and individuals in hypnobirthing.

I have since continued my studies and have also gained a Professional Accredited Counselling and Psychotherapy diploma with a distinction-accredited by The National Counselling Society. A course accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. I attend regular supervision meetings and continue to take courses as part of CPD. I am also a volunteer for the mental health charity "Mind". Much of my work invloves working with young people and students dealing with a number of issues inlcuding eating disorders, OCD and anxiety.

I believe that we should all love what we do and that in turn should be part of our happiness, I am lucky enough to be doing something that I am passionate about and have such confidence in it's success and how it can improve lives. If you would like to take the first step to improving your life today, then please feel free to contact me. Hypnosis is not brain-washing or magic, it is simply you allowing yourself unconsciously to make changes that will improve your life for good.

Kind regards

Natasha
